These Modern Bathroom Sink Styles Will Take Your Bathroom to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL

Up Your Bathroom Game with Stone International

All you need to upgrade your bathroom is a brand new sink. Deciding on your bathroom’s sink can be a difficult choice to make. With so many styles, shapes, colors, and textures, it can be hard to figure out what’s best for you and your family. Not to mention renovating an entire space can become expensive the more things you decide to change. If you’re on a budget and you’re looking for the most affordable way to redo your bathroom, start with your sink! Better yet, here are some modern bathroom sink styles that will last you a lifetime.

Undermount and Integrated

These two modern-day sinks are very similar, but they have a small handful of differences. While an under-mount sink can be built under the countertop you already have, an integrated sink comes in one piece with your countertop. Because both modern bathroom sink styles are shaped to go directly under the countertop, they are effortless to clean and tend not to splash any water onto the rest of the bathroom’s top surface.

Undermount and integrated sinks are great for families with busy schedules and small children, as there will be barely any mess by the time you go to scrub. Although installing an under-mount sink will give you the freedom to choose from many different countertop options, the sink is only able to work with solid surfaces like stone, so you can’t use a laminate for this sink installation. Undermount sinks also tend to be more expensive than other types of sinks.

Integrated sinks come all in one piece, so installing them is relatively simple. Because the sinks provide both your countertop and your sink, they are less expensive and perfect for someone on a budget. However, they are not as customizable or provide as much variety as undermount sinks.

Pedestal and Vessel

If you’re looking for a sink that’s eye-catching enough to (figuratively) make a splash, modern pedestal and vessel bathroom sink styles are just right. Although they are not alike in shape or design at all, they both stand out as unique renovations that are not your average bathroom addition. Although a pedestal sink is mounted on the bathroom wall, it conveniently uses a stand under it to cover the waste pipe. If you happen to have a space in which you can’t change this pipe feature, then a pedestal sink can adapt to it perfectly while still giving you an aesthetically pleasing look.

Although this sink style is the least modern of the bunch, there are tons more twenty-first-century models of the sink that won’t age your bathroom at all. Vessel sinks, on the other hand, tend to look like bowls sitting atop or partially below your countertop. This modern bathroom sink style is one of the most attention-seeking of the bunch, and they tend to be deep enough to hold a lot of water.

However, they tend to be very inconvenient to clean, and are not ideal for small children. When installing a vessel sink, you need to make sure your cabinet is not too high that you won’t be able to see into it.

Wall-Mounted and Washplane

These two are debatably the most modern-looking out of these bathroom sink styles, but they have their own disadvantages too. Wall-mounted and washplane sinks can fit in tight, small corners of your bathroom and give you enough room to work with for the rest of your bathroom needs. If you have a very limited amount of space in your bathroom or you’re looking for something more simple and subdued, a wall-mounted or washplane sink can be perfect for you.

Because both styles come with just one sink each, there are no countertops or cabinets connected to them. Thus, these sinks are best for a bathroom that one person uses at a time. If you live by yourself or only have one other roommate, these sinks can maximize the small amount of space you may have.
